4 easy & FREE ways to support small businesses this holiday season (and beyond)

Small businesses need your help —

& it doesn’t need to be financial! Of course we would love you to do all of your holiday shopping with us, but there are so many ways to help our businesses be successful this holiday season (and beyond).

Below are the four best & easiest ways to support for free. Ready? Let's go 🎉

Sign up for our email lists!

& open the emails —

Social media algorithms are unpredictable. Only 5% of our audiences see each post, which means you may miss something important!

Instagram glitches have also been on the rise — so we’d love to connect with you outside of the apps. Email allows us to connect with you organically & consistently (plus, it spruces up that boring inbox)!

Once you join the list — open the emails. This keeps our emails out of your spam & promotional folders 🌟

Not one for sharing your email? Setting up Instagram notifications is a great alternative, see #2 for details.

Engage with our content

& set up post notifications!

Social media algorithms like it when you engage with our content — that means liking, commenting, sharing, and saving our posts, videos, stories, etc.

When you do this, the algorithm will push our content to more of our followers (which means more views!). This helps us stay consistent among our audiences and allows us to communicate important information 🙃

BONUS: set up notifications!

You can set up notifications for posts, reels, stories, and more for your favorite creators on Instagram. Just go to their profile, click on the bell in the top right corner, and select the content you’d like to be notified for! This is a great alternative to joining our email lists because it removes the unpredictability of the algorithm — you’ll consistently see our content & important announcements!

Recommend us to friends & family

Word of mouth is the best way for small businesses to grow sustainably and authentically.

Many of us would much rather grow through people who have followed our stories and can attest to our products than to grow via a viral video.

So go share your favorite small businesses to your Instagram stories, send their website to someone who would love their work, mention their names in a conversation, or send favorite offering to a loved one!

P.S. This is also a great way to hint at a gift you may want for the holidays 😉

Write a review

🌟 The #1 thing!

If you have purchased from us in the past — write a review! This is the most helpful free thing you can do for us.

Testimonials to the quality of our work is so important — especially for online businesses. When a customer can’t hold the item before purchase, it can take a leap of faith to buy online. But reviews make these decisions so. much. easier.

Often you’ll receive an email after purchase to review the item — go search for it in your inbox or reach out to the business! Some of us even prefer testimonials written through an email or DM so that we can screenshot & post it to our Instagram stories & highlights — so don’t feel weird about reaching out directly!

This takes very little time and can do wonders for our future customers.

Have you purchased from Meghan Elisabeth Art in the past? Search “Meghan Elisabeth Art” in your inbox to find the link (the subject will be “Leave a review 🌟”) or click here to send me an email testimonial 💛
