How do i care for my jewelry?

Please see the MEA Jewelry Care page

How do I know what ring size to get?

If you aren’t sure what your ring size is, use a ring sizer! I offer them for free to email subscribers, otherwise you can purchase on here.

Some tips for using the ring sizer:

  • Your finger changes size throughout the day and seasons! Be sure to measure your finger multiple times (the morning versus the middle of the day, when your hand is warm versus cold).

  • Test the size by shaking your hand with the ring sizer on your finger - if it feels like it’ll fly, go down a 1/2 size & try again.

can you re-size my ring?

I do not resize rings made by other makers.

If the ring you would like re-sized is an MEA ring available for purchase, I can stretch the ring 0.5 - 1 size larger than the size listed. Please make a note at checkout with the size you would like the ring stretched to, & I will make the modification free of charge. If you are not sure your ring size, order a ring sizer to measure & confirm!

Once a ring has been purchased and mailed to you, I will resize the ring for a service fee. Contact me for more details!

My package was lost/ stolen/ damaged, what can you do?

Do you offer returns / refunds?

Please see the Shipping & Returns information page.

Do you offer repairs?

I do not do repairs on pieces made by other makers.

If your MEA piece breaks due to a fault in its construction, I will repair it free of charge. You are responsible for shipping costs to and from my studio. Examples include a stone falling out of its setting or an earring disassembling!

Please note that a stone breaking is not the fault of the piece’s construction. It is rare, but stones can break when they are hit or dropped on hard surfaces. If a stone breaks or if the piece breaks due to heavy use, I will repair or remake the piece with a service and/or material fee. If I need to remake the piece, I’ll recycle the silver from the original and subtract that from the overall material cost!

To reach out about a repair or for more information, contact me here!

what does the 925 on my jewelry mean?

On the backside of every sterling silver Meghan Elisabeth Art piece is a 925. This stamp indicates that the piece is made of sterling silver! Sterling silver is a mix of silver and (usually) copper. The copper in sterling silver makes the metal stronger and more durable - making it perfect for jewelry. The 925 represents 0.925 or 92.5% silver within the metal, indicating that the piece is sterling silver rather than another metal. This stamp will help you or a future owner of the piece if it ever needs repairs or resizing!

Do you do custom work?

I do a limited number of custom and commission work on a case-by-case basis.

A commission is a new design that is created in collaboration. A custom order is an existing design made with your choice of stone and size.

If you’re interested in a custom or commissioned piece, send me a message & I’ll let you know if we can make it happen!
